  1. Why is "Bring It All Back Home" released as "Subterranean Homesick Blues" in continental Europe (and perhaps other places as well)?

  2. Is anyone familiar with the song: I Need A Russian Naval Uniform?
What was the role of the foghorn in it?
Was it first released in the 1960s?

  3. Does anyone have a recording of Cab Calloway's Big Ten Inch?
It was recorded by Bull Moose Jackson in the late 1940s (Badman Jackson That's Me, Charly, CD CHARLY 274), is the Cab Calloway version a ghost, or did he record it too?

  4. (a) ACD
The acronym ACD appears on many of Dylan's CDs. What does it mean or stand for?
"Analog recording, Cassette mix, Digitally mastered" has been suggested but as the acronym appears on CDs with ADD -- "Analog recording, Digital mix, Digitally mastered" -- this seems unlikely.
    [e.g. T-003]

    (b) TSP
The acronym TSP appears on many of Dylan's CDs. What does it mean or stand for? Presumably not "The Swinging Pig"?
    [e.g. T-022]

    (c) BONG
The acronym BONG appears on many of Dylan's CDs. What does it mean or stand for?
    [e.g. T-076]

    (d) ACUM [Authors', Composers' and Publishers' Society]
But what do the letters stand for? In what language? Israeli?
    [e.g. T-449]

    (e) Probably none of the acronym questions are Dylan specific, if you know anyone at all who knows the CD industry well ask them what the above might mean.

  5. Spalding
Spalding must have some significance to someone in Dylan circles?!?
"The Wiener Club Of Spalding" (Spalding Rocks, 92136, 92137, 1994, Rocks 92136, Rocks 92137, Manufactured in Norway)
An essay on the tour of "the infamous gentleman's club of spalding" and "Le Commandeur" its chairman, by treasurer Pete Buffalo, 16.VII.1994, is included.
Phill Townsend refers to this CD as The Werchter Club Of Spalding in Issue 11, October 1994 of The Famous Etiquette Book [p. 4].
No one ever explained Rockland's Captain Ahab's Dream / Bob Dylan & the Gentleman's Club of Spalding (Rockland, ROLA 003, 1991, ROLA 003 T203-13029 02)?
Nor has anyone explained the vinyl Days Of '49 : The Gentleman's Club Of Spalding (Cookroom, Cookroom Records 001, [1990])?

This is often advertised as a "Gold CD" which is the colour of the CD and the cover insert, nowhere does it indicate it is either 24 kt gold-plated, re-mixed, re-mastered, SBM, or anything along the lines of other mainstream industry fools' gold scams.

It is not a bad "Greatest Hits Live" as these things go, hopping through the Halloween concert (1-6), dropping in on Judas! (7), with the Grateful Dead (11-14)...
